I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and relocated to Pasadena, California in 2006. In the 90’s, I cut my teeth in the music scene by owning a small independent record label, producing concerts and managing a record store (the typical High Fidelity scenario).
Originally, I moved to the Los Angeles area to pursue the art of Music Supervision, but quickly realized that I might be decent and finding the right song for the right scene, but I’m not the best at dealing with pretentiousness and demands that far exceeded any budget I was given on the indie film circuit.
From there, an opportunity arose to learn how Google worked and to sharpen my earlier skills at writing. Learning about SEO, Backlinks, Organic vs. Paid Traffic and Affiliate Marketing, I began writing articles for small businesses that were looking for better results online.
December 2012 saw me having a Cardiac Arrest and the aftermath of recovering from that. The moral of the story is to drink that Gatorade and eat a Banana or some Guacamole, once in awhile!
I prefer to use humor, rather than anger. I’m a champion of the underdog and feel the pain of small-to-medium businesses nationwide. I’m self-deprecating and not always the sharpest tool in the shed, but improving your business profile online, increasing digital foot traffic and moving the needle on your bottom line are goals I strive to achieve.
I offer a humble approach to Google searches and the internet, in general and have affordable rates, dependent upon your needs.
